Customer Reviews

"Delicious food, quick and helpful service & lit ambience. Liked their wall paper. Food can be slightly spicier, I chose spice level #4 yet it was sweet for me We had the Hunan chicken + sweet + sour prawns + pork rice combination meal (from the special combo menu section) and schezuan fish (comes with a portion of steamed rice). Super yummy! Fish and the chicken was cooked really well. "Mal Guel Soo Rok" charcoal drink went really well with the food. The sweet and sour prawns weren't that great."

"Pullman's restaurant scene is bad. I have visited often enough times over the years to have tried all of the recommended restaurants multiple times at this point. New Garden is my current favorite; I believe it would have a chance to stand out in even the crowded Seattle Chinese food scene. The food is decent, the service is good, the menu is large, the prices are fair, and I like the ambiance a lot. Specific to the ambiance, I find the wallpaper and waterfall neat. I attached photos. There really isn't a downside to the restaurant except perhaps the parking."

"I was hopeful that the food would be good because it was pretty busy, but unfortunately left disappointed. Service was good, food...not so much. We ordered the #5 and pot stickers. The almond chicken was dry and over cooked, the gravy, flavorless. The pork chow mein was decent, although I didn't notice any pork in it."

"Was skeptical walking in but Food and service ended up being pretty good. The bathroom was absolutely FILTHY which was a huge turn off. Door handle slimy...Not really a clean freak but ewww. Usually if the bathroom is that nasty, the kitchen is probably not far behind. Seemed like a whole section was closed down and random stuff strewn about the booths and tables in plain view (first thing we noticed when we walked in. In Pullman seems to be best option for Chinese. A mop bucket and some bleach would do it some good. Otherwise not bad. We read reviews about Mihns restaurant across the street but when we went in there in felt like walking into a gas station. Then we looked across street and saw New Garden and were overall glad we found it."
